checkmyiqscore.com is operated by U-Design Signs and Graphics. This policy covers this website only, including the IQ test, and does not cover any external website you reach by following a link from here.

How the IQ Test Handles Your Answers

The test on our IQ Test page runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. As you answer each question, your selections are held only in the page's local memory — nothing is sent to our server while you're taking the test.

When you finish, your score, the number of questions answered correctly, the total question count and how long you took are passed to the results page as parameters in that page's own web address (its URL query string). We do not write these values to a database, and we do not attach them to your name, email address or any other identifier unless you separately choose to contact us about your result. Standard web server logs (see below) may incidentally record that URL, including its parameters, the same way they record any page request.

Information We Collect

Personal Information

We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us. In practice that means:

• Contact details you submit — your name, email address, chosen subject and message, when you write to us or use the form on our contact page.
• Correspondence — the content of emails and any follow-up exchange, kept so we can answer you and keep a record of the request.

We do not ask for, and this website has no facility to take, payment card details, government identifiers, health information or account credentials. Please do not send them to us.

Non-Personal Information

Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically receive limited technical information when a page loads:

• IP address (often truncated or anonymised by the analytics provider), and general region derived from it
• Browser type and version, operating system, and device category
• Pages viewed, time on page, and the referring page or search term where the browser supplies it
• Date and time of the visit, and server log entries kept for security and diagnostics

This information is used in aggregate. We do not attempt to use it to identify an individual visitor.

How We Use Information

• To respond to enquiries and privacy requests you send us
• To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website, including the test
• To understand, in aggregate, how the test and site pages perform
• To meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are used in California law. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. This site carries no advertising and no paid product placement.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses a small number of them:

• Strictly necessary — including the record of your cookie banner choice, so we do not ask again on every page. This is stored locally in your browser.
• Analytics — to count visits and understand which pages, including the test, are used. These are set only where you have accepted non-essential cookies.

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, and browsers offer a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal; where we receive a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a valid opt-out request. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of providers to run this site, and they process limited information on our behalf:

• Web hosting and content delivery — to serve pages and maintain server logs
• Analytics — to produce aggregate readership statistics, where accepted
• Email — to receive and reply to your correspondence

These providers are permitted to use information only for the purpose of providing their service to us. Once you follow a link to an external site, that site's own practices apply.

Data Retention

Correspondence and its associated contact details are kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping — generally no more than 24 months — unless a longer period is legally required. Server logs are kept for a short operational period. We do not maintain a database of individual test results; aggregate, non-identifying analytics may be retained indefinitely. Records of privacy requests are kept as long as necessary to demonstrate compliance.

Data Security

The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to correspondence is limited to people who need it, and our providers are selected on the basis of their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take these steps seriously we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information through the contact form.

Children's Privacy (Under 13)

This website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you may still submit the request, and we will confirm our position in writing. You may also decline non-essential cookies at any time using the banner or your browser settings.

Non-Discrimination

We will not deny you access to this website, degrade its quality, or treat you differently in any way because you exercised a privacy right.

Please tell us which right you are exercising and include enough information for us to locate the relevant records. We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days, extending once by a further 45 days where a request is complex — we will tell you if that happens. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when our practices or our providers change. Updates are published on this page with a revised date at the top. Where a change is significant, we will make it prominent on the website.
